Welcome to DH1 Science Tuition

I am a science teacher with 18 years experience in a variety of different educational settings. I have worked as a Head of Chemistry in a large academy and as a Lead Practitioner, leading on Teaching and Learning initiatives. More recently, I have taken on the role of Director of Science in a wonderful school in Durham and thrive on passing on my enthusiasm to as many students as possible. I have a passion for the sciences that is second to none. This has not dwindled with time, and I love the study of sciences more than ever. I believe that sciences can open doors to my students futures, but I also believe that study of the sciences can change the world for the better. I see it as my role to enthuse and engage the next generation of scientists to love studying them as much as I do! My students love my classes, and this gives me a great sense of achievement too!
